Mobile Check Deposit
Enjoy the convenience of depositing checks from your smartphone
Mobile check deposit is as easy as logging into the Union Bank mobile application, snapping a picture of your check, entering the amount and pushing a button. It’s simple and secure.
To get started with Mobile Check Deposit, you need:
- A compatible AndroidTM or iPhoneTM smartphone
- A Union Bank personal checking or savings account in good standing that has been approved for NetTeller Online Banking1
- The Union Bank UB2GO mobile app
- A valid email address on file
What to do:
Eligible customers use this complimentary2 service by:
- Signing into the UB2GO app on your smartphone using the same ID and password that you use for NetTeller online banking
- Selecting the “Deposits” icon (and then the “Deposit a Check” option)
- Signing each check and adding “For Mobile Deposit Only”
- Using your phone to take a photo of the front and back of the check
- Entering the amount to deposit
- Selecting the account to which you want the check to be deposited
- Pressing “Deposit”
Additional details:
- Checks must be payable to you in United States currency
- Funds deposited before 5 p.m. weekdays will be available on the following business day
- After you make a deposit, we will immediately send you a confirmation email
- You may void and shred the deposited checks after 14 days

1Current Union Bank customers can sign up for NetTeller Online Banking by selecting the Online tab at the top of our home page, clicking the “Online Banking/Bill Pay Application” link in the “Application” box, and completing the application—including a valid email address—and mailing, faxing, or sending by secure email, the application to us. Once you receive your confirmation letter, you can sign into NetTeller, click the “Settings” tab, select “Mobile Settings,” click on “Enable web access for your mobile device,” and then follow the instructions to finish signing up for Mobile Banking. Mobile Check Deposit will automatically become available within the following 5 business days
